LYFER started a long time ago in 1987. I was a middle school kid on Long Island who bought my teachers used surfboard and lugged it down to West End 2 – Jones Beach. I saw the small but perfect blue waves that kept coming all day, paddled out for the first time, and instantly got hooked. I kept going back eventually teaching myself how to surf.  I have been riding waves in New York from Rockaway to Montauk ever since. 

 

Those were the most carefree days. Days in which I would doodle surf inspired logos all day at school and dream of one day having my own surf inspired brand/logo.   LYFER is that dream. A chance to share the culture and commitment to a lifestyle I’ve come to love so much.  LYFER is a grassroots, NY-based surfing apparel brand started by a local surfer, for surfers and young groms everywhere. High end stylish trucker hats and soft tees with a lived in feel, perfect for throwing on after a day at the beach.
